Interior Designer logo design, brand development and website design
THE STORY
Megan has always known she wanted to be her own boss and that she would be successful at it. She has been passionate about design for as long as she can remember and interior design has allowed her to explore that as a career. When I asked her what makes her different she said, “I love anticipating my clients’ needs, so that design I provide the feels timeless.”
WHAT WE DID:
Logo Design & Brand Development
Color Palette Development
Typography Selection
Business Card Design
Marketing Gift Design
Website Design
Through the discovery phase, I learned that while Megan always designs for the client, she always adds her own twist that is both tasteful and classic. She also has a background in architecture which she feels differentiates herself from other interior designers.
From the architectural inspiration, I created a logo mark that not only incorporated the look of a home, it also takes on a slight resemblance of architectural drawings. While working through the logo design I also wanted to subtly incorporate the shape of an M and D.
Color was a HUGE focus for Megan. While we both love an appreciate neautral palettes, it was important to Megan that we not use black or white. We wanted a palette she would love to design a room around. The logo mark looked absolutely amazing against a mustard orange. She also LOVES blue so I added a dusty blue that doesn’t over power her palette. Lastly, some neautral colors that set things off like a beautiful canvas.
The website brought her whole brand to life. We curated a site that clearly communicates her services, provides as an amazing portfolio and even includes a client exclusive SHOP page to items she curates her self. We brought a large emphasis to her script brand font and incorporated an incredible background pattern that helps reinforce her architectural training and background.
